Do I need Outlook to use macPST?
No. macPST reads .pst files directly – Outlook doesn't need to be installed or running.
Which PST formats are supported?
Unicode PST (Outlook 2003 and later) with standard compression. Password-encrypted archives are not supported in the MVP.
Is any of my data sent anywhere?
No. macPST works fully offline. There is no telemetry, no cloud, no account.
Can I edit or delete mails?
macPST is read-only. This protects your archive from accidental changes.
Apple Silicon or Intel?
Both. macPST ships as a Universal Binary.
